History.

The Sd. Kfz. 251/10 was a German half-track vehicle developed during the Second World War, designed to provide armoured mobility and firepower for infantry units. Introduced in 1940, this variant of the Sd. Kfz. 251 series was equipped with a 3.7 cm Pak 36 anti-tank gun mounted on the forward section. It was primarily intended as a platoon command vehicle, offering increased firepower to engage light armoured vehicles or fortifications.

The Sd. Kfz. 251/10 combined mobility and versatility, allowing it to traverse difficult terrain while supporting infantry operations. Its design reflected Germany’s emphasis on mechanised warfare. While it became somewhat obsolete as Allied armour improved, it remained a valuable component of the Wehrmacht's combined arms strategy throughout the war.
