History

The T-34-85 was a Soviet medium tank introduced in 1944 as an upgrade to the earlier T-34. It featured a more powerful 85mm gun and a redesigned turret with improved armour, allowing it to effectively combat German heavy tanks such as the Panther and Tiger. Retaining the original’s sloped armour and mobility, the T-34-85 struck a balance between firepower, protection, and speed.
