History.

The Volkswagen T2b, introduced in 1972, was an evolution of the iconic VW Type 2 (also known as the VW Bus or Camper). It followed the earlier T2a model, bringing several mechanical and cosmetic upgrades. The T2b featured larger bumpers, repositioned indicators, and improved braking and suspension systems, making it more practical and safer. Popular with families, travellers, and counterculture communities, the T2b became a symbol of freedom and adventure during the 1970s. It was especially beloved in the UK and Europe for camping holidays and road trips. Production continued in various countries until the late 1970s, with Brazil manufacturing versions into the 2000s.
